I also was a bit leary about this bag from some of its reviews regarding its quality. But I have to say I was more than pleasantly surprised. It is JUST exactly the size and style of what I was looking for and the one I received, was made well, nice quality leather, well designed in every way. My ONLY complaint is, the strap is WAYYYYYYY to short, for anyone but a child. When I put this bag on, as the sling it was intended, the bag itself falls under my armpit. Granted Im on the tall side, but Im not 6 feet tall, and its still way too short.
Luckily for me, I had an older black leather bag that had a detachable shoulder strap with the same clip hooks as this bag. So for me, adding the extra strap, makes the bag fall just above my hip , which is where a sling bag should fall.
I wont use the zip backpack option, but it did zip ok, if I ever did.
Overall, decent value/quality, but the strap is too short.

The sewing was crappy and the strap came right out. I was also able to pierce the so called leather with my nail when I went to pick it up off the table. Now there is a huge whole in the side. I got my money back, less the shipping, but it was the worst buy I have found on here. There is nothing geuine about this so called leather!
